This Deed, Made and entered into this 14th day of March 1949, by and between James W. Turner and Martha Turner, his wife, of Boone County, State of Missouri parties of the first park and Virgie Hammond and Kestie Hammond, as joint tenants with right of survivorship of Boone County State of Missouri parties of the second part;

Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of Ten Dollars and otehr valuable considerations ---- Dollars to them paid by the said parties of the Second Partk, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents Grant, Bargain and Sell, Convey and Confirm, unto the said parties of the Second Part, the pollowing described tract or parcel of land, situated in the County of Boone, in the State of Missouri..

To Have and To Hold the same, together with all the rights, immunities, priveleges and appurtenances to teh same belonging unto the said parties of the Second Part and to their heirs and assigns forever; the said parties of the first part hereby conventing that they and their heirs executors and administrators, shall and will Warrant and Defend the title to the premises unto the said parties of the Second Part and to their heirs and assigns, forever, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever, except taxes falling due in 1949 and thereafter.

In witness whereoff, the said parties of the Firt Part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

State of Missouri County of Boone - personally appeared on this 15th day of March 1949 befoer me... James W. Turner and Martha Turner his wife to me known to be the persons described in and who executed the foregoing instrument and acknowledged that they executed the same as their free act and deed.

Deed of Trust. Made and entered into this 15th day of March 1949 by and between Virgie Hammond and William Martin Hammond her husband and Kestie Hammond a single person of Boone County Missouri parties of the first part and Hartley G. Bankes of Boone County, State of Missouri, party of the Second Part and Stephens College a corporation of Boone County Missouri Party of Third Part.

Lot No. 16, in Bowlings Subdivision of Lot No. 7 of Stephens Addition to the City of Columbia Missouri

Wheareas parties of the first part have of even date, made, executed and delivered to Party of the Third Part, certain negotiable promissory note for the sum of Thirty-Six Hundred Dollars with interest from date at the rate of 5 percent per annum on the unpaid balance, said note and interest being payable in installments of $35.00 dollars per month, each payment to be applied first to interest on the unpaid balance and the remainder to principal and in which note it is further provided that if payments thereof shall not be made and the same is placed in the hands of an attorney for collection, the maker shall pay the cost of collection of said not including an attorney's fee of ten per cent of the principal and interest remaining unpaid, if collected by an attorney or by process of law.
