Matilda Emeline Kesterson born 22 September 1819 the daughter of John Henry & Sarah (Davis) Kesterson, was married to George W. Campbell 11 August 1842 in Greene TN. Immediately after their marriage they moved to Lafayette County MO along with her parents and other members of the family. Their first child Dora probably died along with way or immediately on arriveal in MO.

Nancy Jane Campbell and Xavier Ganter were married 5 March 1864 in Lafayette Co MO. They became the parents of 10 known children. The name is spelled Ganter and Ganther. Two of Nancy and Xavier's daughters, Anne Katherine and Etta G. Ganter married John Wesley Kesterson a nephew of Matilda Emeline Kesterson Campbell.

OBITUARY: Jane M. Freeman, 700 E. 8th St. Kansas CIty, died Thursday, Jan. 29, at Menorah Medical Center, Kansas City. Jane Freeman, daughter of Joseph A. and Alda Claiborne, was born in Camden County. She was married to Paul B. Freeman on April 7, 1950. He preceded her May 20, 1976. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Jane taught at the Linn Creek and Camdenton Schools before moving to Kansas City in1943. She taught in Kansas City schools for 30 years and retired in 1974. Jane Freeman is survived by a sister, Ruth Evington, of Camdenton and two nieces, Sue Evington of Springfield and Nancy Johnston of Kansas City. Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 2, at the Mount Moriah Chapel, with Rev. Ramon C. Butts officiating. Burial was in the Mount .....

Obituary - Mrs. Alda Claiborne was born November 27, 1885. She was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph A. Claiborne March 10, 1908. To this union, three daughters were born: Julia, Jane and Ruth. She professed faith in Christ January 23, 1916, united with Union (Baptist) Church at that time. She lived a strong devoted Christian life until death, saying she was not afraid to die. She departed this life January 26, 1919. She was a good neighbor and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a husband, three daughters, three brothers and one sister, other relatives, 0and many friends to mourn her death, but our loss is her eternal gain. She was 34 years, 1 month, and 19 days old at the time of her passing.
