Of This Special Day

When you came through the door you were officially welcomed and "greeted" by Mary Walters Bearden (and whoever else who happened to be there).

In this photo we have Mary, her cousin Janet (Ribble) Jensen, cousin-in-law Ed Devine and Aunt Lois.

After a lot of mingling, mixing and getting "caught up", Janet opened the show with the story of Margarets 100 years (given on the previous page).

I really don't think that many of us can actually, comprehend the meaning of "100" years. This lady was here on earth, before cars, tv's, microwaves, and telephones. She saw the invention of "plastic" and "bathrooms."

I say that lightly -

Aunt Margaret

had several "favorite" nieces.

The sisters - three.. Rhoda, Margaret & Lois Walters
Just in case you are wondering --
Rhoda is 89, Margaret 100 and Lois is 97..
They must have a secret for staying young

Aunt Margaret with her back to us -
At the table is her nephew David Walters and his wife Lynette..

What a wonderful, special day for Aunt Margaret and especially for her family because they have been so blessed to have had her in their lives
for such a long, long time
