Ellen was a daughter of SAMUEL LAMBERT and MARY MILLICENT. She was born 1839 in Linolnshire Eng, and died 09 May 1923.

Artical from Jenny Taylor Extracted from book published about 1888, it listed all land holders in Victoria at the time.

George Frederick Bodley : Cheltenham a native of Painswick Gloucestershire England came to Victoria Australia 1854 and worked in Melb at Yan Yean (may be working on dam) for some months, after which he was at Maryborough diggings for four months but met with little success. In 1860 he bought land at Cheltenham and carried on a market garden for about 17years, he then held positions of Valuator, rate Collector, and Clerk of works for the shire of Moorabbin. He has also been a member of the school board of advice. Mr Bodley has a family of 1 son and 4 daughters. The former now carrying on the market gardening business.

George Caldwell was a native of the district of Grafton and in early times was employed at Ramornie meat works. Later working on the Dorrigo railway.

Martin & his new bride Mary Ann Payne were taken to the church in a handsom cab by Earnie Brown, who later took Martin's son Merv and his wife Alice to their marriage at the same church.
