Notes on George Warren

It is thought that George comes from the Poynton Line of Warrens. I have been trying to prove the connection. I have been told by a Warren Historian Norma Kirchhofer, that the line goes as follows:

pg 341 Lists Warren (Warring) George 1722-1780 Took the Oath of Allegiance before the Hon. Elisha Williams on 3/2/1778. (Ref: L-1:46, T-3:81) George Warren lived in Sugarland Hundred (three taxables) in 1777. (Ref:R-31:13) Died testate in Mont. Co (wife named Mary) in 1780 and he had sons John 24 and George 21 among other children. (Ref: V-142)

There is a Ally Hill mentioned in the will of Thomas Mattingly. Could this be our Alley?
