Arthur Barrett the son of Reuben Barrett was born in 1798 in Greenville, South Carolina. He married Mary L. Caradine about 1820 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas Caradine and Elizabeth Grant. Mary was born in 1797 in Pickens District, South Carolina and died before January 25, 1878 in Neshoba County, MS. Arthur died on June 26, 1874 in Neshoba County,MS.
Of Arthur Barrett and Mary Caradines 12 children, all of thier sons served in the Civil War, two of them dying in the war in POW camps. You will eventually find the sons service records on the Military page under thier names.
