Monroeville News, May 26, 1999 Forsaken graveyard will get facelift17 year old Glen Martin, son of Mr. & Mrs. George Martin of Fort Wayne will enlist family and friends to help him do what no one else has been able to accomplish -- clean up the old Brown Cemtery in Monroe Township. Martin, a special ed student at Wayne High School and 8-year member of Boy Scout Troop 487 will take on the clean up task as part of his Eagle project. The date for the cleanup has been set for Saturday, June 19. If you would like to join Martin's volunteer force, contact township trustee Max Meyer at 623-3717. Watch for a follow-up story at a later date. |
