First Generation

1.  James Allen, son of William Allen and Mary Barnes, was
born in 1790.  He died before 19 Nov 1857.

James married Martha Patsy Chastain in 1812.  Martha was born
in 1795.  She died in 1872 at age 77.  They are both buried in Clear Creek Cemetery
 in Gilmer County, Georgia in unmarked graves.

2    M    i.	William Chastain Allen was born on 17 Apr 1813 in South Carolina.  He died on 18 Jun 1897
	at age 84 in Gilmer County, Georgia.  He is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer County,
	Georgia.
	William married Lucy Burch on 20 Jan 1855 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.  Lucy was born
	29 Sep 1830 in Gilmer County, Georgia.  She died 10 may 1903 in Gilmer county, Georgia.
	She is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer County, Georgia.
3    F    ii.	Vina Allen was born in 1815.  She died in 1905 at age 90.
	Vina married Dreder Wall on 14 Nov 1832 in Rabun County, Georgia.  Dreder was born about
	1812 in South Carolina.
4    F   iii.	Jemima Allen was born on 17 Aug 1818 in North Carolina.  She died on 29 Jan 1907 at age 88.
	She is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer County, Georgia.
	Jemima married Israel Teems.  Israel was born in 7 Nov 1813.  He died in 25 Aug 1901 at
	age 88.  He is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer County, Georgia.
5    F    iv.	Abbie Delisa Allen was born in 1822 in North Carolina.  She died in 1897 at age 75.
	Abbie married Samuel Jones on 6 Mar 1845 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.
6    M     v.	Maxwell Denton Allen was born in 1823 in North Carolina.  He died in 1864 at age 41.
	Maxwell married Elizabeth Russell on 13 Aug 1848 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.
7    F    vi.	Elizabeth Allen was born on 27 Mar 1827 in Georgia.  She died on 18 Dec 1916 in Ellijay,
	Gilmer County, Georgia at age 89.  She was buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gilmer
	County, Georgia.
8    M   vii.	Eppsy Morris Allen was born on 5 Jun 1830 in North Carolina.  He died on 18 Jan 1906 in
	Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia at age 75.  He is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer
	County, Georgia.
	Eppsy married Necie Jones on 30 Jan 1851 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.  Necie was
	born in 27 Dec 1829.  She died in 30 Sep 1913 in Gilmer County, Georgia at age 84.  She
	is buried at Clear Creek Cemetery in Gilmer County, Georgia.
9    F  viii.	Nancy Allen was born in 17 Jan 1834 in Whitfield County, Georgia.  She died in October 1914
	at age 80 in Bryan County, Oklahoma.  She is buried at Highland Cemetery in Bryan County,
	Oklahoma.
	Nancy married Moses Carr Clark on 23 Dec 1852 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.
	Moses was born 24 Jun 1833 in Barnwell County, South Carolina. He died 1 Apr 1901 in
	Durant, Choctaw Indian Nation, Oklahoma.  He is buried in Highland Cemetery in Bryan County,
	Oklahoma.

Second Generation

7.  Elizabeth Allen was born on 27 Mar 1827 in Georgia  She died on 18 Dec 1916 in
Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia at age 89.  She was buried at 
Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gilmer County, Georgia.

Elizabeth married John Bates, son of James M. Bates and Rachel, on 18 Oct
1845 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia.  John was born on 13 Jan 1824 in North Carolina.
  He died on 7 Nov 1904 in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia at age 80.
  He was buried at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Gilmer
County, Georgia.
