Most Wanted - William Charles

William Charles I was the son of Melchisadec Charles
(1800 - 1880) and Mary Jay.  He married Sarah Ray in 1850
in Gilmer County, Georgia.  They had one child together,
William H. Charles (1851 - 1930).  William I
was a Methodist Preacher. 

There is an old family story
that after his church was burnt down he left his
home and family and was never heard from again.  By 1870,
his wife and there son, William II was living in the
household of Sarah's father, Robert Ray.
