UPDATE: According to Sean from Beachwood, this cemetery was identified on an old County map as the Bone Hill Cemetery. Whether the town took its name from this cemetery on the hill or not is uncertain. However, I recently received an e-mail from a fellow who used to bury people here in the 70s, and he told me that the legal documents and permits always referred to it as the "Roadside Cemetery" at that time.

William Albertson: He was on the census in 1910 in the "Pasadena" section of Manchester Twp, Ocean Co. At that time,
he was an 'odd job- laborer' and was 23 years old. His wife, Arwilda, was 17. She was born in Pennsylvania and had given birth once, though that
child was no longer alive as of 1910.
In 1920, William was living on Main St. in Whitings Village, Manchester Twp, and working as a railroad laborer. He lived
with James, 8, and William E., age 6.
Joseph Alsheimer: In 1910, he was living in the home of his parents in Toms River,
Joseph and Lillian Alsheimer, He had an older brother, George, b. Jul 1891.
Joseph, Sr. was born May of 1866 in Germany; Lillian in Jul of 1865 in NY (to German immigrants).
They were married about 1890. Joseph, Sr. worked as a shoemaker; he immigrated in 1880
and was a naturalized citizen.
As of 1920, the elder Joseph was a widower, and lived alone, still working as a shoemaker
on Main Street in Toms River.
