Ron Bauerle's Bauerle Family Page
BAUERLE Family Genealogical Research
(by Ron Bauerle)
My grandparents, Herbert and Mabel (Zischke) Bauerle
Welcome to my BAUERLE family page. I am descended from John M. Bauerly who came
from Germany in 1837 and settled in
Washtenaw Co, MI.
His wife Carolina W. Deyle and children (including my great-great-grandfather
Charles William Bauerle) didn't come over until 1851, as seen in the
write-up below. My branch of the family ended up in
Clinton Co, MI.
If you have any problems accessing anything, or any additions/corrections,
let me know at
[email protected]. Happy hunting!
Contents of this page:
- A list of my Bauerle ancestors and their spouses
- A timeline of my Bauerle ancestors.
- My Bauerle Descendants List with living persons
info deleted per my privacy policy.
Nearly all of this information was taken from "The Bauerle Family Tree"
(1985) by Dwane V. Norris.
Contact me for his address/phone number if you would like to see if
copies are still available.
- A write-up on my g3gf John Bauerly from the above-mentioned
"Bauerle Family Tree";
note that he was apparently an inadvertent bigamist.
- A write-up on my g2gf Charles William Bauerly and
picture of his farm from the
1891 "Portrait and Biographical Album of Clinton and Shiawassee Counties, Mich."
- Pictures:
- My g3-grandfather John M. Bauerly's grave in
Sunset Cem., Jonesville, MI; my g3-grandmother
Carolina (Deyle) Bauerle Schneeburger and
her grave in Salem Lutheran Cem., in Washtenaw Co, MI.
- My g2-grandparents, Charles William & Catherine
Mary (Hepfer), their farm in Clinton Co, MI,
their family, the house
at 418 Maple Street in Lansing, MI where they later resided, and
their grave in Hurd Cem., DeWitt, MI
- My great-grandparents, Henry Valentine & Hertha Marie Elizabeth (Baske) Bauerle
presumably for their wedding March 30, 1905, their children,
for their 50th wedding anniversary, and
their grave in DeWitt Cem., DeWitt, MI.
- My grandparents, Herbert Arthur & Mabel Viola (Zischke) Bauerle
on their wedding day June 15, 1932, for their 40th anniversary
June 1972 (same as picture at top but bigger), and their grave
in DeWitt Cem., DeWitt, MI
- A sketch of the original house that Henry moved
into, made by my grandfather Herbert in the 1970s for a 4-H project of
mine, along with an "aerial" view of the original
homestead lay-out, and a (later) 1980s? aerial photo
of the stone house and buildings that they built to the south of the
original buildings around 1915, which my parents later bought and where
I grew up.
- Other Bauerle links:
- My
Bath School Disaster page, in which my grandfather's brother Arnold
Victor Bauerle was killed.
- The Genforum Bauerle
page, but there are only 12 or so entries, none for MI Bauerles.
- The Surnameweb Bauerle
page, but about all that's there is the above Genforum page.
- Not really much on Michigan Bauerles at the
Mormon site or
World-connect
