Delk Road

Actually Delk Rd intercets I-75 just north of Atlanta and is the exit fir Dobbins AirForce base. It was named for Robert Doss Delk (1865-1945) son of Jackson D. Delk(1814-1897) Jack was the son of David who was a son of Joseph2. Doss lived on the road that was crossed when I-75 was built. He also was the chairman of the board of county commissioners of Cobb county in 1921.
