Most photos were taken in St.Louis studios about ?1893-1907.
My Tate line was: Benjamin Edward Tate b.10-22-1868 & wife Minnie May Griffith. He descended from David Tate (1730?) & Catherine Thornton of Va. I do not know who ancestors of Minnie May Griffith were. Benj & Minnie's daughter, Minnie Tate, m.Mr. Proetz in St.Louis. Their son, Benjamin Edward Tate Jr, m. Gladys Jessemyne Werly in 1900. Jesse Anne Stallings m.Christian Werly. They lived in St.Louis, as well as Canton, Mo. Jesse & her mother, Julia Frances Bonnell, also lived in St.Louis and Jerseyville,IL. I will appreciate any help in identification". [They are beautiful photos]. Cynthia Sizeler [email protected]

This picture was mailed from St.Louis by B.G.Proetz to my Tate relatives in the early 1950's. I am guessing the photo was taken 1870 or so? Surnames could be Proetz, Tate, Bonnell. I will appreciate any help. Thanks, Cynthia Sizeler [email protected]
