Henry and Thirza Calvert (née Harrison) arrived in Australia from Derbyshire aboard the "Morning Light" in 1858.

They brought their children (Elizabeth, Martha, Henry, Thirza, Jane, Thomas, James, Patience and Charles) with them.
Their last child (William) was born in Melbourne in 1859.

Jonathan Calvert was born in Stockton, Co Durham, England on 28th February, 1785. He married Isabella Calbreath (Galbraith) on 7th April 1806 at All Saints, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland.

Jonathan and Isabella had seven children, Frances (1810), William Rumley (1815), Henry (1816), James (1818), Thomas (1819), Jane (1821) and Isabella (1822).

Henry Calvert married Thirza Harrison at the Belper Independent Chapel, Derbyshire on 29th May, 1839. Henry and Thirza came to Australia with their family.

Henry and Thirza Calvert's arrived in Australia from Belper, Derbyshire aboard the "Morning Light" in 1858. There was another child Frederick, born and died 16th April 1858 in Derby.

Charles Calvert (my great-grandfather) married Mary Ann Smethurst on 14th October, 1880 at Yallock, near Cranbourne, Victora. They had eight children, Herbert Harrison (1881), Edith Thirza (1882), Elizabeth Mary (1884), Patience Harrison (1885), Noel Spencer (1886), Millicent Harrison (1889), Lillian Doris (1891) and James Vernon (1894).
