She gave her heart to God early in life and at the time of her death was a member of the U.B. chruch at Middle Beaver, and was always a willing worker for the master until failing health compelled her to lay aside many duties that were still dear to her heart. She had been afflicted since a year ago last September, but was very patient and often expressed a desire to be with her Savior. She was a faithful companion, a loving mother and a true friend. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor at the Middle Beaver church, of which she was a charter member, January 12, 1919, where a large number gathered to pay last respects to one they loved. She was laid to rest in the Clemans cemetery.
