• he married 8 Oct 1609, at Stratton St Michael Parish, Norfolk, Elizabeth Stephin, dau. of John and Anne (Tovye) Stephin of Long Stratton, Norfolk; she was bapt. 21 Apr 1584 at Stratton St Michael, Norfolk; after William's death, Elizabeth remarried, on 8 Sept 1629 at St Mary's Church, Woolpit, Suffolk, John Bridgham, widower, and father of Mary Bridgham by his previous marriage. • William died bef 2 Feb 1628/29; he was bur. 2 Feb 1628/29 at Stratton St Mary parish, Norfolk. • No will has yet been discovered for William. Ch. 1. William, bapt. 13 Apr 1612 at Stratton St Michael parish, Norfolk; he died young and was bur. 20 Apr. 1616 at Stratton St Michael. 2. Thomas, bapt. 30 Nov 1617, at Stratton St Michael parish. He emigrated to America in 1637 with his step-sister, Mary Bridgham; they m. about 1639. 3. There may also have been a daughter named Elizabeth (unsubstantiated at this time). |
