The Grady Family

1. Robert¹ Grady Sr. was born circa 1725 in Virginia¹. He married Mary (maiden name unknown) before 1765². He is believed to have died circa 1800 in North Carolina¹. He had eight known children:

3. Robert² Grady Jr. (Robert¹) was born circa 1759 probably in North Carolina. He married Sarah Dial circa 1780 and died 1801 in Wake Co., NC³. He had five known children:

6. John² Grady Sr. (Robert¹) was born circa 1765. He married firstly Mary Dawson and secondly Gillie Thompson. He had one known child:

7. Dennis² Grady (Robert¹) was born circa 1768. He married Ghaskey McElroy Dawson and died 1832 in Wake Co., NC⁴. He had at least one child:

8. James² Grady (Robert¹) was born bet. 1755-74⁵. He married Sarah Card on November 8, 1797 in Wake Co., NC⁶ and died 1851 in Wake Co., NC⁷. He had the following known children:

9. Mark² Grady (Robert¹) was born circa 1772. He married on June 23, 1801 in Wake Co., NC⁶ to Obediance Hartsfield and died 1848 in Wake Co., NC⁸. He had four known children:
