This site is dedicated to researching the Moore families of Maryland and the surrounding states. The main line I have researched is the line of John Moore Sr. of Somerset Co., MD but I have included several others and hope to include more.

All the Moore families included are believed to have originated in England and may have a common ancestor. However, at this point most research is being done America.
