MORRIS John Blacksmith 1795: John Morris, born about 1795. He was a blacksmith living at the Blacksmiths Shop, Norton, Radnorshire (Powys). Died June 1877 and is buried at Norton Church with the insription 'Blacksmith of this village. His sons Richard Born about 1837 and Josiah Born about 1824 also lived and worked as blacksmiths in NORTON. The family were Blacksmiths in the village from at least 1841 to 1881 when they appear to become farmers and farm first at Norton and then Rowley Farm near PRESTEIGNE, Powys.
