James Kennard
No possitive proof has been found. Not sure James is the father of this family. Not sure all these children are brother and sisters. We only know for sure that JEMIMA AND JOHN are related, probably brother and sister.
These are skeleton families, we have many family sheets, records from Ancestry.com, DAR records, Pension Records, and National Archive Records. Laurie Scott is trying to pull these together to find proof. If you have proof or join any of these families, would love to hear from you and exchange information.

Hester married Fred'k Swarts as you know. They lived in Perry Co, OH by 1820-1836 or longer (according to tax duplicates from 1834-37). My direct line descends from Jacob Swarts, Asbery's father-- may have been in Bedford Co Penna prior to that? Believe Fred'k moved to Muskingum Co, OH where my direct ancestor Asberry Swarts also lived for a short time. Many Swarts' moved to Mercer Co OH by 1850. Asbery was a plasterer and was in business in Mercer Co OH with John W Kennard-- the two also served in the same company during the Civil War (40th Ohio Vol Infantry). The families are buried close to each other in Macedon Cemetery, Mercer Co, OH.
