This site is dedicated in loving memory to my mother, Lorine Edna Boekhoff, who was taken from us much too early, and whom I have missed dearly for 20 years.

The contents of this site were compiled over many years and many travels, primarily by my uncle George Boekhoff (whom my mother and I both affectionately called "Georgie"), and were tirelessly typed, page by page, by his granddaughter Allison Starr. My goal is to ensure that the grand effort started by my uncle will endure long after we're both gone, in a format that is both easy to update and easy to share.

The Boekhoff family traces back to the year 1605 in Holtland, Germany.
