MARSHALL, Sarah, d/o Joseph and Jane McMechin Marshal, born 30 July 1831 Savannah, died 11 Apr 1916 Savannah, 85y, parents to area from Washington Co. PA early 1820"s, born on lot now owned by Earnest Orchard just S of United Presb. Church, grandfather William McMechin a founder of the church, 1 brother and 1 sister died previously, siblings: Mrs. Margaret Bubbison and Mrs. Elizabeth Hare.

GAULT, Francis A., died at County Infirmary Monday, 73y22d, buried Nankin Cemetery, formerly of Orange Twp., sister Mrs. Irwin Stentz of Cleveland, brothers John and James of Ashland Co, sister Emaline died last fall, 1 sister and 3 brothers also deceased.

HENDERSON, Eleanor E., died at home in Colton CA, 65 to 70 years old, left area 30 years ago, nee Myers, d/o James E. Chase's sister, cousin of Mrs. P.A. Myers, buried Polk Cemetery.

PITTINGER, William H., died Friday at West Salem, 60y, wife, 1 son Guy of Wooster, 1 daughter in Mobile AL, Bessie of Cleveland, Mrs. Rhea Martin of E of Ashland, wife d/o L.H. Kiplinger, sisters Mrs. W.Y. Landis, Mrs. Wesley Smith and Mrs. May Smith are all deceased.

GORHAM, Estin Augustus, born 11 Dec 1836 in log house on old homestead 4 miles SE of Sullivan, oldest of 8, died 6 Apr, 79y8m25d, married Eliza Campbell 4 July 1859, children:� Willis M., Anna M., John D., and Fanny C., Willis died 12 Apr 1878, brothers: Reuben of Grand Rapids MI and Louis of Homerville, sisters Mrs. Henry Chapman of Spencer and Mrs. Frank Chapman of Wellington, 4 grandchildren.

IMGARD, Jeannette Nold, widow of August, died at home of daughter Mrs. J.R. McQuigg of E. Cleveland, 86y, formerly of Wooster, with parents when 6 years old, born Wetzler, Prussia, youngest of William and Christina, children: Harry deceased a few years ago, Mrs. Kate Hart, Mrs. Gertrude McQuigg and Mrs. Jeannette Habbell, husband died 1904, nephews Ed L. Reaser, Harry Reaser, nieces Mrs. Frank Heltman and Mrs. W.H. Brubaker, granddaughter Mrs. Glenn Haller.

STARK, Mrs. Samuel, funeral Friday at home 105 E. 4th St., buried Ashland Cemetery.

SLAGLE, Clara, died at home 1/4 mile E of Nova Wednesday, 64y, nephews Charles Walker of Toledo and Louis Walker of Detroit, buried Nova Cemetery.

CLARK, Rachel C., widow of E.Y. died at Samaritan Hospital Wednesday, 87y9d, born 3 Apr 1829 Evansville IN, married 11 Mar 1846 Evansville IN, 1881 to Ashland, husband died 25 years ago 26 Mar, children: Maria L. Bailey w/o H.A. of corner of E. Liberty and Arthur St., Mrs. Mary E. Rowland deceased, Eliza O'Conner of Claremore OK, George R. deceased, Charles R. of Pittsford MI and William who died in infancy, 9 grandchildren, buried in Ashland Cemetery.

Bend IN, Mrs. Mary Ann Kelly of Fostoria, Mrs. DeHaven and Jane w/o Hiram Wolgamott of Holmes Co., Jane was grandmother of deceased and was 12y old when left Ireland; Dr. John had 2 sons: Dr. John and Dr. William; Mrs. Kelly had 2 sons: Dr. William and Dr. James and a sister-in-law of Dr. Tom Stewart; Dr. Lemon Wolgamott of St. Louis and Dr. George Wolgamott of Chicago; paternal grandparents: Catherine and Isaac Rudy from Lancaster Co. PA to Holmes Co OH; Florence Luella Maxwell was born 3 Dec 1857 Holmes Co, d/o Manelius S. and Nancy Jane Rudy, to Hayesville in early 1870's, married 31 Aug 1876 George Wise Maxwell, son Milo A. of Coshocton, 2 daughters Mrs. Grace Patterson and Mrs. Nellie Heinbach, 8 grandchildren, sister Mrs. B.F. Armstrong of Hayesville, 2 brothers Dr. F.T. Rudy of Champaign IL and Att. W.F. Rudy of New Orleans IA, buried Oak Hill Cemetery in Holmes Co.

TALLENTIRE, John Robinson, born Tallentire homestead 4 miles S of Ashland 2 May 1843, died at home at corner of Highland and Eastern 6 Mar, 72y10m4d, CW Co E 64th OVI, married Emma M. Burdick 6 Apr 1873 Oskaloosa KS, children: Mrs. C.E. Richards, John Wesley, Mrs. A.F. McDermott, Russell Amos all of Washington DC, George of Columbus and Edith of home, brother Howard of S of Ashland, sister Ann of College Ave., 4 children died previously: Arthur Howard, Anna Laura, Edna Frances and Eben Maxson, (see previous article).
