BODY WILL


St Stephens in Brannell

8th January 1785

The Will of one Edward Body lately Deced proved in Common form before the Revd John ........ Clerk Bachelor of Arts Surrogate etc forth And Admion of all and Singular the Goods & so forth of the said Deced & of all things howsoever

Concerning his Said will was Granted to the Exece therein named & being first in and forme of Law Sworn Having & so forth Edward Body

This is the last Will and Testament of me Edward Body of the parish of St Stephens in Branwell in the County of Cornwall Yeoman And do hereby revoke All former Wills by me made particularly one now in the pofsefsion of Nicholas Crews Gentleman

I give and bequeath unto my Brother William Body the Sum of Twenty shillings

I give and bequeath unto Edward and Richard Body Sons of Thomas Body the Sum of Twenty Shillings each

I give and bequeath unto the said Richard Body Son of the said Thomas Body my White Mare

I give and bequeath unto Michael Body of St Agnes the Sum of One Guinea to be paid within twelve months after my Decease I give and bequeath unto Jane the Wife of Peter Body the Sum of Twenty Shillings

I give and bequeath unto Peter Body the Younger the Sum of Twenty Shillings I give and bequeath unto Grace and Susanna Daughters of my brother Peter Body one shilling each

I give and bequeath unto Jane and Mary Daughters of the said Thomas Body one shilling each

I give unto Mary Elizabeth Susanna and Bridget Daughters of my Brother William Body one shilling each

I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Burn and her son James Burn one shilling each

All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods Chattles and personal Estate of what nature kind or sort soever I do hereby give devise and bequeath to my brother Peter Body of the parish of St Stephens aforesaid Yeoman and I hereby nominate and appoint him sole Executor of this my Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this sixth Day of March in the year of our Lord One thousand and seven hundred
and eighty

as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence
his request and in presence of each other
subscribed our Names as witnesses thereto
