The will of Francis Luly, tinner, of the parish of St Stephens in Brannell, dated 13 May 1654

Hugh Luly, my sonne

This money is to be paid to my two sonnes, John Luly and Henry Luly, my sonnes and Blanch Luly, my daughter, when they are one and twentie yeares of age, if anie of them shall dye before they shall accomplish the age of one and twenty yeares, the money shall redound to the said Jane Luly, my daughter

(NB the name Whitfeild should read Whitford - somewhere I have some details about Jane Luly/Whitford, and as far as I can remember she had moved to Probus.)

A true and perfect Inventory of the goods and chattells of John Luly of the Parish of St Stephens in Brannell, Deceased, taken and appraised by Nicholas Clemo of St Enodor and Joel Luly of St Stephens, the 26th day of december 1682

(note - when witnessed, Clemo is spelt Clemowe)

There is mention of Jasper Phillipps, the Principal Official of the Archdeacon of the Archdeaconry of Cornwall

Given the 18th day of the month of January in the 34th year of the reign of our Lord Charles II, now King of England, and in the year of our Lord 1682
