Benton THELMA SMITH Thelma L. Smith, 86, of Benton died Friday, Jan. 13, 1995, at Benton. Bom July 13, 1908, at Aurora, Mo., a daughter of Thomas and Florence Collins Ripper, she was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church in Winslow. Survivors are a son, Hugh Stonesifer of Benton; two stepsons, Marvin Smlth of Sand Springs, Okla., and Bob Smith of Lowell; two stepdaughters, Ruby Watkins and Kary Brannon, both of Sand Springs; four sisters, Nora Stout of Riverside, Calif., Nell Smith and Mildred Mitchell, both of Flint, Mich., and Virginia Hughes of Klngsman, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren: 44 great-grandchildren: and three great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nelson's Funeral Home with Marvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Brentwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. |
