These are just various inscriptions collected along the way in my Branthwaite research

Recorded in the Harrington�Road�Cemetery, Workington, Cumberland, England

In loving memory of John Branthwaite, (master mariner) who was lost at sea Jan 7th 1882 aged 36 years. Also of Mary Ellen his wife who died June 6th 1911, aged 67 years. And of Sarah and Mary their daughters who died in infancy. And of John, their dearly loved and only son who was called to higher service March 24th 1930, aged 48 years, interred at Crediton, Devon. "A man greatly loved." And of Eleanor their daughter died at Crediton Oct 13th 1952 aged 72 years.

In loving memory of Fletcher Branthwaite who died 20th September 1925 aged 70 years also�his wife Grace who died July 15th 1933 aged 80 years.� Sarah E R Branthwaite born 11th April 1880 died September 5th 1904.� John Joseph Branthwaite born April 23 1892 died August 30th 1923.� Nellie beloved wife of J J Branthwaite born August 18th 1887 died June 5th 1960.

Also Ann Branthwaite widow of the above who died November 17th 1823 aged 63 years. Nanney their daughter died May 12th 1822 aged 27 years. And Isabella their daughter who died June 30th 1824 aged 32 years. Mary Mounsey died Oct. 22nd 1857 aged 70.

Branthwaite:� In memory of John Branthwaite who died June 3rd 1862 aged 72 years. , also of Elizabeth his wife who died May 22nd 1872 aged 76 years. Also of James their son who died July 29th 1847 aged 87. Also of Edward who died March 26th 1866 aged 32 years. Also Joseph who died November 1st 1867 aged 40 years. , and of Eleanor Nichols their daughter who died January 15th 1871 aged 38 years.
Kendal: (Bellingham chapel). Memorial.- This is to certify that the Brass Plates to the East of this Inscription were collected from the Floor and Pew doors of this church, during its Restoration in 1851 and 1852, and were carefully preserved and are precisely the same as they were found at the time. In testimony whereof we have caused this Brass plate to be engraved. Joseph Watkins Barnes, vicar of Kendal.
