        + 3 ii. John Theophalus Rector, Jr., born February 17, 1857 in Georgia; died January 05, 1923 in Ben Wheeler, Van Zandt County, Texas.

        + 4 iii. Josephalus Rector, born August 04, 1863 in Texas; died November 05, 1916 in Trindad, Henderson County, Texas.

         5 iv. Patsy A. Rector, born Abt. 1866 in Texas; died unknown.

3.  John Theophalus2 Rector, Jr. (John Theophalus1) was born February 17, 1857 in Georgia, and died January 05, 1923 in Ben Wheeler, Van Zandt County, Texas.  He married Arvie Zinna Howard October 01, 1885 in Bethel Anderson Co, Texas, daughter of Elijah Howard and Cornelia Cornwell.  She was born June 27, 1869 in Anderson County, Texas, and died October 29, 1938 in Grand Saline, Van Zandt County, Texas.

Children of John Rector and Arvie Howard are:

         6 i. Henry Thomas3 Rector, born December 11, 1886; died February 22, 1964 in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.  He married Bonnie White.

         7 ii. Alfred Spencer Rector, born February 20, 1888; died October 22, 1953 in Van Zandt County, Texas.  He married Lela Damey Alexander unknown; born May 15, 1890; died February 13, 1949 in Ben Wheeler, Van Zandt County, Texas.

         8 iii. Fannie Belle Rector, born March 17, 1890; died March 28, 1957.  She married Fed Lee Brown March 27, 1910 in Smith County, Texas; born July 18, 1893; died February 01, 1945.

         9 iv. Charlie B. Rector, born March 22, 1892; died December 10, 1975 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.  He married Jessie Catherine McKnight March 27, 1910 in Athens, Henderson County, Texas; born August 17, 1895; died September 03, 1963 in Ben Wheeler, Van Zandt County, Texas.

         10 v. Ernest Samuel Rector, born August 28, 1895 in Coryell Co. , Texas; died April 24, 1973 in Van Zandt County, Texas.  He married (1) Nora Shotts Wright June 11, 1920 in Van Zandt County, Texas.  He married (2) Beatrice Bailey Private; born Private.  He married (3) Euna Molloy Private; born Private.  He married (4) Vida Mae Burks Private; born Private.

         11 vi. William Dolphus Rector, born August 03, 1898; died December 14, 1966 in Henderson County, Texas.  He married Ella Rea Cummings Garner Private; died June 1998.

         12 vii. Lillie Vera Rector, born January 08, 1908 in Texas; died November 28, 1932 in Van Zandt County, Texas.  She married Thomas Grady Davidson July 09, 1922 in Smith County, Texas; born November 09, 1903 in Van Zandt County, Texas; died April 17, 1960 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

         13 viii. Lonia Ellen Rector, born August 03, 1901; died January 01, 1970 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.  She married H. DeWitt Patterson September 23, 1917 in Smith County, Texas; born May 29, 1893; died April 08, 1967.

4.  Josephalus2 Rector (John Theophalus1) was born August 04, 1863 in Texas, and died November 05, 1916 in Trindad, Henderson County, Texas.  He married Narcissa " Cissie" Corder November 29, 1886 in Anderson County, Texas.  She was born Abt. 1855 in Anderson County, Texas, and died Abt. 1901.

Child of Josephalus Rector and Narcissa Corder is:

         14 i. Jo Anna3 Rector, born October 16, 1887 in Blackfoot, Anderson County, Texas; died September 14, 1987 in Athens, Henderson Count, Texas.  She married John D. Griggs.
