Reiber Brendel Died Friday Afternoon
Young Man Succumbs to Dred White Plague Last Week

Reiber Brendel died Friday afternoon after a long illness due to Tuberculosis. The Funeral was held from the L.D.S. Church Sunday at 11 o'clock with probably the largest crowd there, which has been in the building since it was erected. Elder W. S. Macrae preached the Funeral Service and spoke briefly of the boy’s devotion to his Mother. The large crowd from town and the country spoke eloquently also of the young man’s worth. Reiber was a little over 21 years old at his death. He remained active to the last, refusing to believe that the end was near. He had not been up town since the first week in September but walked around his home in the north part of the city every day. He was dressed and holding his hat in his hand when he passed away. His mother, two brothers James and Fred, and sister Mrs. Norine Floyd survive.
