Israel Marcus and Eva Loebenberg Schlesinger Gravestones
I visited Old Hebrew Cemetery on May 30, 2006. It is located on Mt. Calvary Avenue on the near west side of Columbus, Ohio. It is just south of Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The maintenance crew of Mt. Calvary Cemetery cares for the small graveyard. There are probably only 40 to 50 people buried in the cemetery. The cemetery gates are kept locked. The maintenance man who let me in said he thought I was only the second person to visit the cemetery in the last four years.
