of day spent in cleaning guns, ammunition, etc. Usual aerial activity. |

Weather fine. Parade 10 A.M. Received orders to be ready to move in
an hour. Standing to all day. |

Weather fine. Ordered to move to D. Camp at Ouderdome. Received orders
to prepare to go into the line the following night. |

Lt. Eastham and Lt. Basevi went to Ypres at 10 A.M. to make arrangements
with O.C. 7th Bde. M.G. Co. for taking over that night. Relief complete
in Hooge sector 2 A.M. One O.R. wounded during relief. |

Weather fine. Heavy bombardment by enemy, who also blew four mines
and attacked. Three of our guns inflicted very heavy casualties on the
enemy, firing in all 4000 rounds. These guns greatly contributed to holding
up the German attack. We had the following casualties: 2 O.R. killed, 1
O.R. died of wounds, 2 O.R. wounded. |
