This photographer is known from a single cabinet card tentatively dated at the turn of the century, suggesting that A.R. Palmer had a studio at West Bars, Chesterfield at around that time. Other photographers to have studios at West Bars include Paul Turner (1870-1891) and J.W. Robinson (1895). Perhaps Palmer succeeded Turner and Robinson at this location. |
