The Greaves Family

Gervase GREAVES & Mary JOHNSON Gervase had moved down to North Derbyshire from his native Scotland when he married Mary in 1849. They were living in Ridgeway during the 1851 census with Gervase's mother who had remarried to George RIPPON, they remained there until their deaths, Gervase in 1872 and Mary in 1888, they were buried in the Ridgeway churchyard of St John the Evangelist.
