John, Thank You- Thank You, for all the hard work you've done on our
family history. I am a granddaughter of Effie Polsgrove- She was married
to Joe Rodery 3/3/1907. My father Paul was the only son of this union,
though there were two daughters Ruth (Fortner), and Rachel
(Fortner),these two sisters married brothers. Both Ruth and Rachel are
now deceased, my father Paul is still living & is now in a nursing home
in Houston, Tx. I believe your grandmother Cora and my grandmother Effie
were the only two daughters of Thomas Henry and Martha (Fletcher)
Polsgrove. MY grandmother died in 1920, so of course I never met her and
I have always been sorry for that !
My father is the Rodery son who "disappeared" in 1948, I found him alive
and well in 1980. My mother was Hazel Ellen Banks- she died in 1980.
Coincidental ??? Who knows!!!
