The basis for this work for the descendants of Frederick Loy on my father's side is a genealogical report by my aunt Violette Mae Loy Teeters compiled in her 80th year during a masters degree program at Central Michigan University in 1978.
The basis for a search one my mother's side is based on the work of a distant uncle William Allen May in 1984

The interesting thing about this ancestry research is that each generation one goes back, the number of
ancestors in that generation double. Therefore each individual in the nth generation will contribute only
1/2n
As evidenced in the above GED file, I was able to trace back to a John Carpenter, a member of the
English Parliament, born in 1303 and 21 generations back. Thus he only contributed one part in
two million to my genetic makeup.
