A COPY OF THE RECORDS OF THE REV. THOMAS WHITE, THE FIRST PASTOR OF THE CHURCH IN BOLTON, CONN Communicated by Miss Mary K. Talcott, of Hartford, Conn

The settlement of Bolton was commenced about the year 1716, and the first inhabitants were largely from the towns of Hartford, Windsor and Wethersfield. In 1725, he accepted a call to the newly formed church in Bolton, and was ordained there October 26, 1725, and continued his work until his death, February 22, 1763. ...

NORTH BOLTON PAPERS XII
ECCLESIATICAL AFFAIRS, Ser. 1, Pages 66 and 67

My copies are too poor to scan and place them here for you to view. Both are dated May 1749. Each document bears the signature of Thomas Brooks along with many others. They appear to be requesting a minister for the Town of Bolton. Since Bolton Church records for this family end in 1749, I wonder if this group established a new church. We see that Rev. White was the minister of the Bolton Church 1725-1763.

Below is exciting for me as it places Levi Brooks in Tolland. Much more to be researched but this is a start.
