Elaine Lois Amble

Elaine L Amble was born in 1932 in Whitewater, Wisconsin, and grew up in Milton with her 2 sisters, Mary and Mavis, who still live in Janesville. Elaine had 3 fantastic children, Krystine Marie, Linda Kaye and Matthew Ervin (who may be the more gifted of the children). Just kidding sisters! Elaine married Ervin G Brown soon after high school, and went to work at Parker Pen, where she ran a comptrometer. No one knows what the hell a comptrometer is, but rumor has it that is was similar to a calculator - which in the the 50's was a big deal. Soon after marrying Ervin, Elaine became a housewife to raise the children, and worked part time at Lyle's Delacatesson. After Ervin quit his job at the defense plant and started his own excavating business, Elaine ran the books and office, and earned the nickname "Big Mamma" from her tough business tactics when needed. Elaine and Ervin have retired to sunny Tucson, Arizona, where they watch tv, nap and ride around in golf carts.
