                                                                                                             ii.      Martin STEEL was an adjoining neighbor on the 10 July 1800 Deed for McDowell Creek tract

 

                                                                                                            iii.      Also see Deed Book 21, page 366; 6 Mar 1820 - Wm. S. Elliott to Ephraim Jetton for $500, 105 A on McDowell Cr adj Andrew Johnston being land previously owned by John Knox.

 

                                                                                                           iv.      Ephraim Jetton was the son of Abraham Jetton, and brother of Lewis Jetton.  John Knox's son Robert J. Wilson Knox m. Martha Nantz Jetton, granddaughter of Lewis and Priscilla  (Sharpe) Jetton.

 

                                                                                                             v.      Saml Johnston was the original bondsman for John Knox's Administration of Jane Knox's 1818 Estate. He m. 01 Mar 1813 Louisa Henderson (his second wife) who was Mary B. (Robison) Knox's 2nd cousin on her mother's side.
