PRB Notes:

1) Definition of "headwaters" ...the source of a river or stream is the place  from which the water in the river or stream originates.  More specifically, a  source is defined as the most distant point (from the river mouth) in the  drainage basin from which water runs year-around, or, alternatively, the  furthest point from which water could possibly flow.  [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Source_(river_or_stream)]

2) Deed does not refer to this property as the "Blakely place" but matches  the acreage described in John Knox's 1853 LWT.   Uncertain how/when  John acquired this parcel.  Could have been part of several other  transactions between John Knox and Samuel Wilson.  Samuel Wilson may  have acquired the land from the Blakelys?   No transaction found between  John Knox and any Blakely/Blackley or Hunter is found in Grantee/Grantor Index.

3) Witness J. R. Gillespie is Joseph Robison Gillespie, son of Alexander Gillespie and  Elizabeth Robison, sister of Mary B. (Robison) Knox, making him R. J. W.  Knox's 1st cousin and John's nephew by marriage.

4) William Potts is William G. Potts [See 24 Nov 1848 Deed...assume this is William Graham Potts]

5) John Alexander is J. M. Alexander [See 24 Nov 1848 Deed...assume this is John Milton Alexander]
