To Court - The
Petition coming on to be heard - It is ordered by Court that the pray of the
Petitioners be granted, and that Batte Irvin, Thomas
L. Hutchison, Wm Gribble, Jas A. Todd
& Addison Frazier be appointed Commissions to divide & Partition the
lands belonging to the Estate of the late Robert Robinson decd - in the County
afore said adjoining the lands of David R. Henderson, Nancy McClure, Jas P.
Henderson & Archibald Robinson, between his Heirs at law, the Petitioners
aforesaid viz.
A[ndrew]. Springs, Guardian of Joseph Gillespie,
Archibald Robinson, C. H. Robison in his own right and
guardian of Dorcas E. Alexander, Cynthia Robison,
& John Knox & wife, and put them in possession of the same and Report
under their hands and seals to

for Joseph Gillespie, Archibald Roberson, C. H. Roberson in his own right &
as Guard of Dorcas E. Alexander, Cinttia
Roberson, John Knox & his wife hereby slow to your worships that they are
tenants in common of a tract of land descended to them from their ancestor [?] Robinson consisting of about two hundred & fifty acres known as
the Robinson place adjoining the lands of David R. Henderson, Nancy McClure,
Jas P. Henderson & Archibald Roberson your Petitioners state that they are
the only heirs at law of said Robinson & that the land can without
detriment be divided among them, to wit one share to A. Springs as Guardian for
Joseph Gillespie, and to Archibald Roberson in his own right One to C. H. Roberson
in his own right & another to said Roberson as guardian of Dorcas E. Alexander. One to Cynthia Robinson and one
to John Knox & wife
[Mary Robison] in her right. Your
petitioners would therefore pray your worships to [?] according to the act of
________ [?] in such case make & provide to lay off & make partitions
of said land between petitioners, as is duly bound your petitioners will ever
pray -

ROBINSON, C[ARNES] H. ROBINSON, CYNTHIA ROBINSON, the HEIRS of ELIZABETH
ALEXANDER, decd., and the HEIRS* of MARY KNOX, [all] HEIRS AT LAW of ROBERT
ROBINSON, decd, where upon we have made and do the make the following
appropriations, viz:
[1] The Lot No 1 is assigned to the
heirs of Elizabeth [Robison] Alexander...36 acres..value

division all of which is respectfully submitted under our hands and seals
