Funeral services for Eva Y. Hardy, 85, a resident of Sunset Home in Quincy, formerly of Carthage, were held Monday in Carthage United Methodist Church with Rev. Francis Guither officiating. Burial was in Moss Ridge Cemetery, Carthage.
Mrs. Hardy died Friday at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born Jan. 17, 1895, in Carthage, a daughter of Lewis and Harriett Kimbrough Yetter. She married Glen Hardy on Aug. 22, 1923 in Quincy.
She was a member of the Methodist Church in Carthage and for the past seven years had resided at Sunset Home in Quincy.
Surviving are two sons, Howard of Carmel, Calif. and Leonard of Carthage; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lee (Bertha) Murphy of Quincy. She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother.
Memorials to the Heart Fund have been established.
Neiser Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
