Researching the Carpenter and Higdon families and all connecting families. In addition to the family histories, we are very much interested in old family photographs that put faces with the stories.

Most of our research leads  to the States of Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota. Special interest centers on Henry and Crawford Counties of Missouri and around Eldora, Steamboat Rock, and Hampton, Iowa, plus Heron Lake and Mountain Lake, Minnesota. Also, as I get more information on the McCaskey and Cobb families, that will take us to the town of Ava, Douglas County, Missouri and Seymor, Wright County, Missouri.
