Her Majesty, Queen Alice Mae
On November 11 in the year 1924, her highness, the Princess Alice Mae of the Royal Realm of
Braves was duly crowned and proclaimed most high Queen of Football. Contestants for the
throne had come from all four corners of Seniordom, but because of her beauty, grace and charm,
the enthusiastic subjects chose this gracious one to rule their destiny. The coronation took place
midst the greatest splendor and a day of revelry was proclaimed throughout the kingdom. A
gallant tourney was held on that afternoon in which worthy challengers successfully contended
the lists over as many defenders and laid another victory at the Queen's feet. |
