Oowala School
Go north on Oowala Road from Claremore and 6 or 7 miles later you will arrive at the
Oowala community. I don't have the exact distance at this time so this is an estimated
distance. Little evidence is left of the Oowala School and store and the only pictures I have,
at this time, I took in 1977 as the school was being torn down. I think the store was already
gone at that time. I heard, later, that the school burned.
