Herman Dennis, my favorite Stepfather

In Fact, my only Step Father

In 1962, my father, Dave Carpenter died. My mother stayed single until she finished raising my younger brother who was 12 at the time of my fathers death. Then, after my brother was raised and married, she married a man she had known when they were in their teens, by the name of Herman Dennis. Herman's wife, Pauline [Bobbie] had died a couple of years before so this left the two of them single. To make a long story short, they were married and lived happily ever after. [Actually, they had about 12 good years together]. In my opinion, this was the best decision she ever made because Herman Dennis was one great man.  Now, I want to show you some pictures. Be sure to click on the pictures for a large view.
