Burgin and Puddephatt Family Histories

This website contains information relating to my family history, which I have been researching for over twenty years now. I have concentrated mainly on my paternal and maternal surnames (Burgin and Puddephatt) and there is information here that I have found on the Burgin and Puddephatt names.

I am interested in all occurrences of these surnames, even those I have found not to be related to me. I have included census transcripts, church records and other sources of local history in order to paint a picture of the people and the lives they led.

I am also particularly interested in the villages of Bovingdon, Flaunden and Chipperfield in Hertfordshire. There are pages for each of these villages, with some church records and other items of interest relating to their history.
