(Ruth Alfreda Blair Snead papers)
Margaret "Polly" S. Kent was also known as Mary Lilly Kent The Andrew Kent papers also calls her "Polly" or Nancy Lilly Kent. Her greatgrandmother's name was Mary Lilly, who married John Shepherd.
Ruth Snead says that Polly's mother, Annas, died when Polly was a few months old and was reared by her grandparents, Robert and Anne Tate Kent.
