William M. Kent, son of Wm. Kent and Sarah Parrish, married 1832, Louisa Co. records Nancy Lea - b. ____ d. 1888. They went to Kentucky, settled in Shelby Co where he died 1846. Children were: probably none.

Nancy Lea Kent married second Oct. 16, 1848, Lewis Neal They had no children. Mrs. Smith of Lexington, KY says her ancestor Lewis Neal married second, a widow who lived across the road. Mr. Pollard’s great aunt, my old friend, Miss Bettie Cleveland, who is still living (1955) at age 86 or 87, several years ago had the privilege of looking over a box of old letters belonging to Sarah T. Kent, our ancestor. This box is in the possession of Robert Cary Kent of near Antioch Va (grandson of Robert A. Kent and second wife). One of these letters was from Nancy Lea Kent, of Kentucky, widow of Wm. Kent, written about 1850. She sends love to all her family.
