Alvie White ~ Textor

June 19, 1907 ~ April 17, 2005

Alvie B. White Textor, age 97 years, 9 months and 28 days, departed this life Sunday, April 17, 2005, at Green Acres Nursing Home.

Born June 19,1907 in Greene County, she was retired from Ely & Walker shirt factory and a member of Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sisters, Selma Highfill of Paragould, Bernice Holland of Buckner, Missouri, Geraldine Bentz of Batesville, Arkansas, and Dorothy Smith of Paragould; she is also survived by three nieces, Kathryn Wade, Carol Foster and Patsy Massey; and three nephews, Wymon Highfill, Bill White and George Edward Bentz, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Textor; her parents, Luther and Emma (Bibb) White; one brother, Wm. Eugene White and one sister, Ruth Lona Shoopman.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., today, graveside at Linwood Cemetery, with Everett Isom officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., today, at the Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould. The procession will leave at 10:50 a.m., today.
