Martha Lee (Carter) White, 84, of House Springs, formerly of Paragould, died Tuesday, Oct.
8, 2002 at Valley Park, Mo.
Born January 23, 1918 in Paragould, she had
worked as a nurse at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center for more than 20 years and was a
member of Clark’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, William White of
House Springs; one granddaughter, Shawn Hurtgen of Festus, Mo.; and one
great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband,
William Eugene “Gene” White.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mitchell Funeral Home chapel in
Paragould, with Robert Hurtgen officiating. Burial will follow at Clark’s Chapel
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the
funeral home.
