Who was WHO in Carbon County

During the days when Anthracite was king and the railroads were the modern means of travel, Carbon Co. produced a number of interesting individuals, some of them truly outstanding.  Some were saints, some were sinners, and most were a mixture of the two.  Many were wealthy, although it was only sometimes that that wealth is what made them so interesting.

The following short biographies are all original works of mine, and to my knowledge, there are no other written biographies on these people.
